You’re Eating Too Much: In order to lose weight, you need to be on a caloric deficit diet, meaning you need to eat less calories than burn. Finding out how many calories you are burning each day can be beneficial and a good learning tool. Consider using an app to log your intake or write down what you eat in a food journal for a week. This really helps you take a better look into your nutrition.
You Aren’t Eating a Proper Balance of Nutrients: Having a proper balance of nutrients is an important factor to losing weight. It is a common mistake for people to underestimate carbohydrate intake and overestimate fat intake. Make sure you are getting a proper balance of protein, complex carbs and healthy fats into your meals. Load your plate up with nourishing, whole foods to provide your body with the vitamins and minerals it needs.
